Do you run Mental Health First Aid on the Northern Beaches?
Yes. I live in Collaroy and run in-person Mental Health First Aid training for workplaces, schools, surf clubs and sporting clubs from Manly to Palm Beach.
How much does Mental Health First Aid training cost?
Workplace training is $4,950 + GST for up to 15 people, with extra participants at $295 each up to 20. Sporting clubs, community groups and not-for-profits pay $3,300 + GST for up to 15. Travel is included anywhere in Greater Sydney. Outside Sydney, travel and accommodation are charged at cost.
Can our club get funding for it?
Usually, yes. Local council community grants and state sport and wellbeing programs regularly fund training like this, so the club rate can often be covered in full.
Is the training accredited?
Yes. I'm a licensed Mental Health First Aid Australia instructor delivering the Standard MHFA course. Participants who complete the course and the assessment become Accredited Mental Health First Aiders for three years.
